Throughout the creation of ths project there were many ways that i added things to address this implication the design and the features of the website, some of the ways that i addresses this implication was by adding emojis to all of the headers and main texts around all of the pages on my website, this made it eaiser and quicker for the user to navigate around the website, as they could reference what the title or page meant by the emoji allocated to it. another way that i address this implication was by allowing the user to download the current logs on their vehicle. this made the usability of the website alot better as the user could now download thier current logs for their vehicle using a csv test file.
the functionality implication was very important for the website i have created to be useable and good for the user to navigate throughout and use the website efficiently. one of the features that i made to address this implication was making sure that the inputs for things like adding users, logs for vehicles and vehicles themselves had requirments for the inputs. This made it that the user had to add important infomation in when adding a vehicle, e.g adding the model or year of the car is very important so making sure that the user is required to add it in when adding a vehicle is important. another feature that i had that addresses the implication was the dark mode of the website, this feature of the website allowed the user to change the color from black to white and white to black. This makes the website more useable in different situatuion, e.g when somone is using the website in low light conditions, vs someone using the website in bright conditions. It makes the website more useable in different situations, overall making it more fucntional.
the aesthetic implication was another big implication that affects how the website performs and looks overall for the user, so making sure that the aesthetic of the website was good was signficant to how good the website would be overall. one of the features that i added to make sure that the aesthetic of the website was good was adding inline blocks and other modifications to the buttons placed throughout my website to ensure that the buttons being used throughout the website we looking sleek and professional. this use of modifactions such as inline-block made the website look alot more modern and profesional compared to not using these commands. the design of the website using pico css also made a nig impact on the aesthetic and how the website looked when the user will be going throughout the website.
the end user implication ws another one of the important implications that i had to compelete for the website to be sufficent enough for the user to use well. Some of the design and features that i made into the website to make the it useable for the end user was making sure that the user had the ability to do things such as, adding vehicles, adding logs, deleting logs, deleting vehicles, making accounts and downloading their current logs to a csv file. These are the main features of the website that allows the user to track mainteance throughout there vehicles that they own and are published on their account. These main features allow the website to be apporiate for the end user when using the website for it designed purpose. the website can also work on many difference devices such as computers and phones.
the privacy of the user when using a product such as a website is one of the most important things when it comes to making something like a website. the privacy of the user when they are doing things such as logging in, adding new vehicles and adding new logs all needs to be stored in the data base the website uses, and making sure that this data is confidental is exetremly important. Throughout the process of making my mainteance tracker website i made sure to use secure data collection methods, when asking for things like passowrds and usernames. I also thought about not asking for to much infomation from the user. Asking for to much infomation from the user when using my website could deter them and make them want to close the tab and leave the website, not what you. All the tracker asks for it a username and password which keeps down the amount of data that is required from the user making them feel more safe.
